sakura terrace is perfectly located close to the jr station. the rooms are modern and very clean. I really enjoyed the spa facilities. it wasn't too busy, allowing for a nice, relaxing experience. breakfast was a great buffet with a lot of freshly prepared options.

Had a lovely two-night stay, enjoying the hot baths each evening and the nice touch of free drinks at the bar. The public baths were super relaxing and just what I needed after exploring the city. The room was a tad smaller than expected, but it was cozy enough for my stay. 😊

We were warmly welcomed with paper cranes featuring our flags, which was a delightful touch. The hotel's location was fantastic. it was just a 3-minute walk to the bus stop for the Gion area, making it easy to explore with the little ones.

In my wife's opinion, the room was a bit cramped for us. It would be great if the hotel could offer some family-friendly accommodations for future visits.

Location was perfect, just a short walk to the subway and close to Kyoto Station, making it super convenient for sightseeing. The breakfast was fantastic, packed with options that fueled our explorations. One downside was the evening drink service. it was available at inconvenient times, limited to when we were often out for dinner. Also, the staff could be more inviting. One receptionist seemed a bit smug, unlike the usual friendliness we experienced in Japan. Not having a safe in the room was frustrating too. I had to go to the lobby every time I wanted to secure my belongings. Wi-Fi varied significantly, great in the lounge but spotty in the room. Despite these issues, the stay overall was enjoyable. I would definitely consider coming back, especially for that breakfast and location!
